The "El Cantaro" is the closest restaurant to our villa, around 300 metres up the hill, the recently refurbished restaurant serves breakfasts and evening meals and during the summer season bar snacks and cold drinks will be available from the Pool Bar. 
   At the bottom of the hill in Orbeta the "Cal Morrel" (96-558-4000), is a relatively new addition to the local restaurants but is rapidly becoming a favourite, particularly for celebration nights when you are looking for something a little special. 2 Menus 15 and 18 Euros plus wine. It is tucked away in Calle d'Enmig, close to the Forn Vell and the Venta del Vi. The owner speaks good English, so there's no problem if your Spanish is a little rusty. 
   Just around the corner the "Venta del Vi" (96-558-3443) serves a variety of food to suit most tastes, whilst the "Forn Vell" is a more informal restaurant / sports bar with a largely British following.

   In Orba (less than 1km from villa) there are currently four central restaurants, the "Awraba" (96-558-3866), the "Plaça" (96-558-3380), the "Ca Pep" (639-292-982), and "Les Arcades" (679-343-924).  At these restaurants the "Menu del Dia" is around €8.50 to €10 a head for a three course meal including half a bottle of wine (2012).
There are also several other bar / restaurants that are open for meals and snacks, including "Bar Escales" (965-584-117) in the main square for lunch-time tapas and "Bar Al Carrer", and three Brit-friendly establishments "Pasaje Bar" (96-558-4565), "Mambo Cafe",  "Bar el Punt"  (965-583-207) a tapas bar, menus and snacks made with local produce, and "Bar Cheers" (666414599).
